Het Ondernemers Event Arnhem is the largest business event in the city, organised by a partnership of Arnhem business associations and the municipality of Arnhem. Participants are inspired by speakers, network with peers and announce the Beste Arnhemse Onderneming van het Jaar. Participation is free.
A stage for the entire Arnhem business community
Het Ondernemers Event Arnhem is an initiative of Stichting Arnhem Bedrijft!, a partnership between Arnhem business associations, including Business Club Vitesse-GelreDome, Citymarketing Arnhem, Directie Netwerk Arnhem, Ondernemers Kontakt Arnhem, Rabobank, Startclub Arnhem and Sociëteit Jong Ondernemend Arnhem. The mission is clear: to offer a leading stage for the entire Arnhem business community, where networking, inspiration and recognition come together. The event is made possible in part by the gemeente Arnhem.
On the national Dag van de Ondernemer
This edition is deliberately taking place on the national Dag van de Ondernemer, a day on which entrepreneurship and the contribution of entrepreneurs to the city take centre stage. Alderman Nermina Kundić welcomes the attending entrepreneurs and expresses her appreciation for their contribution to the city. Among the speakers are Marijke Vuik, chair of MKB Nederland, and Damien Parasmo and Imane Dafer of Studio Konijnenvoer, who received a Green Michelin Star in 2025 for their creative take on gastronomy, entrepreneurship and sustainability, and moved to the historic Presickhaeff Huys in the centre of Arnhem in 2026.
From inspiration square to award ceremony
In addition to the plenary programme, the event offers an inspiration square with stands from, among others, the Ondernemerspunt of the gemeente Arnhem, knowledge institutions and local business networks. The highlight of the afternoon is the presentation of the title Beste Arnhemse Onderneming van het Jaar and the Arnhems Compliment.
