MICCAI 2030

In 2030 MICCAI comes to Rotterdam: the leading international conference on medical image computing, machine learning in medical imaging and computer assisted interventions and robotics.

MICCAI is coming to Rotterdam in 2030

Rotterdam has been selected to host MICCAI 2030. The conference will be hosted by the Dutch MICCAI community and organised by a local committee. The news was announced on 30 September 2026 by the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR).

What is MICCAI about?

The Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI) Society is the leading international forum for research, education and practice in:

• medical image computing;
• machine learning and AI in medical imaging;
• computer assisted medical interventions and robotics.

Its special interest groups cover topics such as computational pathology, cardiac imaging, medical ultrasound, image registration, explainable and fair AI, open data and human-computer interaction.

Who is it for?

MICCAI brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers and industry from all over the world to share new research, network and shape the future of imaging in healthcare. The conference language is English.

Rotterdam as host city

Rotterdam is a vibrant, innovative and international city. The exact conference venue will be announced later.
