The Klimaattop Gebouwde Omgeving (KTGO) is the annual summit where public and private parties work together on accelerating and making the built environment more sustainable. Around 3,000 professionals gather for keynotes, in-depth sessions and meetings. Diederik Samsom is the chairman.
A major challenge
The built environment is responsible for almost 40% of CO2 emissions in the Netherlands. At the same time, the housing shortage, grid congestion, climate adaptation, energy poverty and liveability require decisive action. This is only possible if the government and the business community work together.
From ambition to action
The summit is not just about sharing knowledge, but above all about results. During the two days, ideas are turned into execution and collaborations are started. More than 50 deals will be concluded regarding the biggest social challenges in the built environment.
Who is attending?
Governments, housing associations, builders, developers, financiers and knowledge partners meet to exchange knowledge, make connections and initiate joint solutions. The theme is connecting, accelerating and realising.
Two days full of programme
The programme consists of inspiring keynotes, in-depth sessions and opportunities to network. In this way, participants work on new initiatives and concrete solutions for the built environment of tomorrow.
