WCCCE-2026 is an international three-day scientific congress on catalysis and chemical engineering, organized by The Iconic Meetings in Tokyo, Japan. The congress brings together researchers, scientists, industry experts, and policymakers for keynotes, plenary sessions, technical presentations, workshops, poster presentations, and networking events. Participation is possible in person in Tokyo or virtually from home or the office.

A global forum for catalysis and chemical science

The Iconic Meetings is an international congress organization that organizes scientific conferences at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, and sustainable technology. WCCCE-2026 is set up as a platform for knowledge exchange, technological innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of catalytic science and chemical process technology. The congress takes place in a hybrid format, allowing participants from around the world to join.

Ten substantive tracks

The scientific program covers a broad spectrum of themes: catalyst design and characterization, heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, photo- and electrocatalysis, nanocatalysis, biocatalysis, green and sustainable chemistry, nanotechnology in chemical engineering, energy conversion and storage, process development and optimization, and industrial applications of catalysis. The confirmed speakers come from leading institutions such as Eindhoven University of Technology, the University of Liverpool, the National University of Singapore, Michigan State University, Uppsala University, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Sandia National Laboratories.
