The Nursing Experience is a trade fair and knowledge event for nurses and caregivers. You can put together your own programme from over thirty sessions on topics including dementia, pain, wound care and acute care, and visit an interactive exhibition floor. The programme provides accreditation points with V&VN and the Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register.
A programme that suits your work
At the Nursing Experience, you choose which four sessions you attend yourself. There are over thirty lectures and workshops, divided into six themes: practical care skills, care for vulnerable groups, behaviour and communication, leadership and team development, personal growth and job satisfaction, and innovation in healthcare. This ensures the day aligns well with your own practice and learning needs.
Speakers who know the profession from the inside
The programme includes, among others, pulmonologist Sander de Hosson on palliative care, neuropsychologist Erik Scherder on pain in dementia, and cardiologist Janneke Wittekoek on the female heart. In addition, there are practical workshops on wound dressing, de-escalation in case of aggression, nursing calculations, neurological checks, and the reception of acutely ill patients in the emergency department.
Exhibition floor, networking and points
Between sessions, you can visit a large exhibition floor with new products, aids, and patient associations. The day is intended for nurses, nurse practitioners, caregivers, social psychiatric nurses, teachers, and nursing students. You earn four accreditation points at the Kwaliteitsregister V&VN and the Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register.
