ITIC Congress 2026 in Dublin

On October 1, 2026, leading professionals from the Irish tourism sector will gather at The Convention Centre Dublin. This year, the ITIC Annual Conference is themed ” Adjust, Adapt, Accelerate .” How is Irish tourism faring in uncertain times? That is the central question of the day. The conference is made possible in part by Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland, and AIB.

Speakers and program

Moderator Dearbhail McDonald expertly guides a packed program. Minister Peter Burke TD opens the discussion on entrepreneurship and policy. U.S. Ambassador Edward S. Walsh speaks about the relationship between Ireland and the U.S. Also on the program are chef Donal Skehan, economist Kate English of Deloitte, and futurist Peter Cosgrove. The program concludes with a networking reception aboard the MV Cill Airne.

Tourism and the EU agenda

A strong panel discussion places Irish tourism in a European perspective. Caroline Bocquel (Fáilte Ireland), Alice Mansergh (Tourism Ireland), and Eduardo Santander from the European Travel Commission discuss the opportunities and challenges surrounding the EU Presidency. Culinary tourism is also on the agenda: a growing priority for the sector.
