Global AI Summit 2026 (GAIN) — Vierde Editie

The Global AI Summit (GAIN) is the flagship AI conference of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The fourth edition brings together ministers, CEOs, researchers, startups, and policymakers from dozens of countries in Riyadh, with core themes of trustworthy AI, generative models, and national AI strategies.

Saudi Arabia as a global player in AI

SDAIA is the national authority strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a global AI leader, in line with Vision 2030. The Global AI Summit was established as the premier international platform for this ambition and attracts a high-profile delegation of world leaders, ministers, technology directors, and researchers every year. The fourth edition is taking place under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi emphasized that the rapid qualitative leap in AI technology makes the timing particularly relevant.

Themes and program

The summit covers the full spectrum of AI: from governance and policy frameworks to enterprise transformation and technological innovation. Particular attention is paid to sovereign AI, Arabic large language models (LLMs), computer vision, and sector-specific AI solutions for government and regulated sectors. Data governance, cloud residency, and sectoral regulation are central to the discussions. In addition to the plenary sessions, there are sectoral roundtables and side events that are filling up fast.
