Festival van de Bevlogenheid 2026 – Tweede Editie

The Festival of Engagement is a unique event for healthcare professionals that combines a conference and a festival, organized by the LAD and the Challenge & Support Foundation. The second edition revolves entirely around personal development, sustainable employability, and job satisfaction, with international keynotes, interactive sessions, and an atmosphere full of music, art, and culture.

Investing in yourself, just as natural as professional knowledge

Investing in personal development should be just as self-evident as investing in technical expertise. To reinforce this ambition, the LAD (National Association of Salaried Doctors) and the Challenge & Support Foundation are organizing this festival for healthcare professionals. The central question is how you, as a healthcare professional, together with your team, continue to thrive. After a successful first edition in Utrecht in 2025, the second edition is moving to the Prodentfabriek in Amersfoort.

International keynotes and a festival atmosphere

Prof. Linda Aiken, a nursing sociologist at the University of Pennsylvania, delivers a keynote address on her global research into retaining healthcare professionals as the key to combating staff shortages in healthcare. Behavioral biologist Wineke Schoo follows up with a fiery speech. Researchers from the Challenge & Support Research Network share the latest insights on sustainable employability in healthcare in short, dynamic Pecha Kucha presentations. Other sessions cover topics including sleep and vitality, breathing techniques, and practical workshops on job satisfaction. This is no ordinary conference, but a true festival: alongside workshops and inspiration sessions, there is an XL play area featuring artistic, playful, and musical activities, and a spectacular secret closing act.
