The Enterprise Europe Network Annual Conference is the annual conference of the Enterprise Europe Network, the European network that helps SMEs with innovation, internationalisation and funding. More than 700 participants, on-site and online, come together under the theme An Agile Network in a Changing World.
The network together
The conference brings together partners from the Enterprise Europe Network, European policymakers and international experts to share experiences and shape the work of the network. It is organised by the European Commission (DG grow) and the executive agency eismea, with support from the Irish network partners. The opening and closing sessions can be followed live online.
Four themes
The sessions are about how SMEs remain competitive and resilient in a changing business environment. The first theme is the internal market and beyond: simpler rules, international partnerships and trade agreements. The second is the industrial transition, with clean energy, circular chains and advanced technology. The third is about innovation and start-ups, with a focus on financing and protection of intellectual property. The fourth is quality and impact, including AI-supported matchmaking.
Workshops and networking
In addition to the plenary sessions, there are interactive workshops, exhibition stands and scheduled networking moments. With matchmaking, on-site and online, partners find the right expertise for their clients. Speakers include Anna Athanasopoulou and Momchil Sabev.
