AI Summit Barcelona 2026

AI Summit Barcelona is the largest AI event in Southern Europe, organized by AI Group Barcelona and Rusker. The second edition on September 22-23, 2026, expects more than 10,000 participants at the World Trade Center Barcelona, with 200 speakers on 10 stages, a hackathon focused on Agent-Oriented Architectures, an Experience Village, and a Workshop Village. The event forms the heart of the broader AI Week Barcelona.

From 3,000 to 10,000: a jump that counts

AI Summit Barcelona held its first edition in September 2025 with 3,000 participants. Following the success of that first edition, organizers AI Group Barcelona and Rusker decided to radically scale up and position the event as the largest AI event in Southern Europe. The philosophy is builder-first and anti-hype: all programming is built around concrete AI implementations, live product demonstrations, and real-world case studies, rather than future speculation and sales presentations. The event received broad support from Barcelona’s public and private sectors.

AI in action, seven content tracks

The program is divided into seven content tracks: AI for Builders (technical deep dives for developers), AI Foundations (fundamental concepts and architectures), AI for Growth (enterprise ROI and business adoption), AI for Good and Impact (societal and ethical dimensions), Physical AI (robotics and embodied systems), AI and Healthcare, and AI Investments and Ecosystem. Each day includes keynotes, working sessions, and curated networking blocks. The hackathon (September 19-20, prior to the summit) focuses specifically on Agent-Oriented Architectures, with 500 participants competing at Norrsken House.
