Congresses and symposia at the UMCG

The UMCG organises many meetings for healthcare professionals, researchers and patients. Think of symposia, continuing education, lectures and information evenings. (Inter)national congresses also take place here. Examples are the NMVO Congres 2027 and the International Glycogen Storage Disease Conference (IGSD 2027).

Organising a congress yourself at the Healthy Ageing Campus

Do you not work at the UMCG or the RUG? Then you can rent a room at one of the locations on or near the campus. This is possible for a small meeting, but also for a large congress:

  • Grand Café and Petit Café UMCG: meetings for up to 30 people, events for up to 70 people
  • NH Groningen Hotel: 3 rooms for 40 to 130 people
  • Forum Groningen: rooms for 8 to 450 people, including the Rabo Studio
  • DOT Groningen: events for up to 700 people, with a film and theatre hall for 234 people
