Martiniplaza has 4 plenary halls, 14 meeting rooms, 3 exhibition spaces and 2 large foyers. The largest hall, the Expo, can accommodate up to 5,500 people. There is in-house catering and Brasserie Loeks. Martiniplaza holds the YOIN Excellent Meeting Place quality label.

Large conferences at Martiniplaza

Martiniplaza hosts national and international conferences. The VNG Jaarcongres in 2023 attracted over 3,000 participants. The European Polymer Congress (EPF 2025) brought over 1,250 scientists from all over Europe to Groningen.

Location and accessibility

Martiniplaza is located near the Stadspark and within walking distance of the city centre. There are 2,000 parking spaces. The venue is easily accessible by car and public transport. Hotels are located right next to the venue.
