Forum Groningen
Het Forum offers 5 main facilities, each with their own halls and spaces.
Filmzalen
Het Forum has five uniquely designed cinema halls for presentations, lectures, and symposia, designed by &Prast&Hooft. The halls can accommodate 175, 120, 84, 63, and 29 people and can be linked. They have a high-quality cinema projector, a speaker set, and an infrared transmitter for the hearing impaired. Camera 3 Deluxe, with 29 armchairs, is suitable for an intimate inspiration session.
Rabo Studio
The Rabo Studio is the largest hall in Het Forum, with a 270-degree panoramic projection on three walls. The hall offers space for 192 to 249 seats, 450 standing places, or 150 seats and 5 different spaces. Thanks to the retractable grandstand and the stage, the space can be flexibly arranged. Due to the box-in-box design, live music is also possible, and the foyer Newsroom with bar offers space for a drink for up to 120 people.
Cursus- en vergaderzalen
For training sessions, brainstorms, and meetings, there are four course rooms on the second floor for 10 to 20 people. On the sixth floor are three meeting rooms for 8 to 10 people, with a view over the city. All spaces have a screen, flip chart, hybrid meeting options, and fast Wi-Fi. There are meeting packages with catering and room rental.
Wonderland
Wonderland is the most playful space in Het Forum, with a hanging net, a virtual bookcase, and children’s books all around. This creates an intimate atmosphere for a lecture or presentation. The space offers 80 seats in a theater setup. There is a screen, flip chart, cloakroom, and catering.
Bar Bistro NOK
NOK is the restaurant and bar on the tenth floor, and offers a 360-degree view of the city and the surrounding area. Bistro dishes with an international twist and local ingredients are served. For groups, a part of the restaurant can be reserved, or the Private Dining, or even the entire floor, for up to 400 people. Via the patio, you can walk to the roof terrace, and there are presentation options with microphones, projector, and screen.
