TEDAI Vienna 2026 – Europe’s Official TED Conference on Artificial Intelligence

TEDAI Vienna is Europe’s exclusive three-day TED conference on artificial intelligence, organized by Dr. Alina Nikolaou in collaboration with TED. The event brings together leading AI researchers, technology leaders, and thinkers at the Hofburg Palace for TED Talks, workshops, panels, and side events on the future of AI.

The only TED conference on AI outside North America

TEDAI is one of only two official TED conferences worldwide, and the only one taking place outside North America. Unlike locally organized TEDx events, TEDAI Vienna is curated directly in collaboration with TED, with the same careful selection, fact-checking, and quality standards that make TED known worldwide. The event takes place in the historic Hofburg Palace, the seat of the Habsburg Empire for more than seven centuries and still the official residence of the Austrian Federal President.

From main stage to Ideas Adventure

The program consists of classic TED Talks on the main stage, complemented by interactive workshops, panels, and informal networking moments. Particularly noteworthy are the Ideas Adventures: handpicked excursions such as a visit to the Austrian National Library, walking tours of Viennese tech locations, and a workshop at a Viennese AI perfumery. Attendees will also have the chance to see brand-new technology and research unveiled live on the TED stage for the first time. Among the speakers for the 2026 edition is a Turing Award winner known as the godfather of modern neural networks and deep learning.
