The annual conference of the Netherlands Association for Medical Education, hosted this year by the University Medical Center Groningen. Teachers, trainers, researchers and students in healthcare share knowledge on education and training, around the theme of humans, animals, health and the world around us.
Medical education with people at its core
The NVMO Conference is the largest gathering in the Netherlands on teaching, training and learning in healthcare. This edition’s theme is See the Human, with everything that comes with it. It explores the links between humans, animals, health and the environment, and what this means for how healthcare professionals are trained.
Three days, many formats
The conference opens with an evening festival of ideas, featuring keynotes, an inspiration square, a games café and an art gallery. This is followed by research papers, practice papers, posters, workshops and roundtable sessions. A full English-language track is available for international participants. On the second evening there is a dinner and party at DOT in Groningen.
Who it is for
The conference is aimed at teachers, trainers, researchers, residents and students in medical and healthcare education. It is organised by the University Medical Center Groningen together with the NVMO. Accreditation has been requested from ABAN and V&VN VS.
