MIT AI Conference 2026 – Age of Agency

  • za 17 oktober 2026
Computer History Museum, Mountain View

The MIT AI Conference is an annual one-day conference organized by MIT Alumni Startups (MITAS), with support from MIT alumni associations in Northern California and Washington D.C. The tenth edition, themed Age of Agency, brings together 500 AI leaders for keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, demos, and an AI Research Slam.

A decade of MIT quality at the intersection of research and practice

The MIT AI Conference began as an initiative by MIT alumni to connect groundbreaking academic AI research with practical applications in the business world. After ten editions, it has grown into a respected one-day event with a deliberately intimate format: no livestream, no online version, but a full focus on valuable conversations in the room. Confirmed speakers for 2026 include Julie Yoo (General Partner, a16z), Aparna Chennapragada (Chief Product Officer, Microsoft), Bret Taylor (Sierra), and Brad Porter (Cobot).

Five program formats in one day

The program combines five formats. MIT-style deep dives translate frontier research into actionable insights. Fireside chats offer intimate conversations with the people building AI. Panels test ideas from multiple perspectives. Hands-on workshops deliver immediately applicable frameworks. And working AI systems can be seen in action on the demo floor. Additionally, there are the annual AI awards, a Builders Experience, and an AI Research Slam featuring breakthrough research.

For whom?

The event targets AI researchers, tech leaders, founders, investors, and enterprise professionals seeking high-signal content at the intersection of academic research and production AI. The conference has sold out multiple times.
