LoopConf is an international conference for developers and engineers who build with WordPress on a daily basis. There are approximately one hundred to two hundred participants. All speakers and topics are hand-picked and connect with one another. In addition to WordPress, it also covers the broader web ecosystem. Freelancers, agencies, plugin teams and core contributors meet here.
In-depth for those who build with WordPress
LoopConf is deliberately smaller and more technical than the well-known WordCamps. The conference focuses on people who build websites and web apps with WordPress for themselves or for clients. Each topic is chosen to build upon the other sessions. This gives you a coherent program. Topics outside of WordPress that are important for developers are also covered.
Funded by the attendees themselves
The organization no longer works with large sponsors. The conference runs entirely on ticket sales. As a result, the focus is entirely on the attendees and there are no sales pitches on stage. Companies can, however, donate tickets to community members who would otherwise be unable to afford the trip.
More than just sessions
Your ticket gives you access to a welcome reception, two full days of sessions, and an afterparty for networking. Afterwards, you can watch all the recordings back. LoopConf is organized by WPSessions, a platform with hundreds of training courses on WordPress development.
