International conference on glycogen storage diseases at the University Medical Center Groningen. Physicians, researchers, other healthcare professionals and patients share the latest knowledge on diagnosis, treatment and living with these rare metabolic disorders.
A rare disease, a global community
Glycogen storage diseases are rare inherited metabolic disorders in which the body cannot properly store or release sugar. This conference brings together international expertise. The University Medical Center Groningen, home to an expertise centre for these disorders, hosts this edition.
Science and practice
The programme includes plenary sessions, parallel and scientific sessions, meet-the-expert sessions and attended poster discussions, with time for networking. The conference language is English, without translation. EACCME accreditation has been requested.

The conference is aimed at medical specialists, researchers and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients and their families. Each group has its own rate, with a discount for early registration.
