Hét Wondzorgcongres is the major wound care event for nurses, caregivers, practice nurses and doctor’s assistants. You will follow four practical sessions of your choice on topics including wound dressings, debridement, compression therapy, pressure ulcers and pain in wound care. The congress is accredited for five points by V&VN, VSR and KABIZ.
Choose your own wound care themes
You put together your own day with four substantive sessions. For example, you will learn to choose the right wound dressing, practice sharp debridement on pig trotters, or delve into bandaging for edema. Smelly wounds, maggot therapy, wound care for the elderly, and assessing wounds on dark skin are also covered.
Experienced wound experts as instructors
The sessions are given by nurse practitioners, wound consultants, and instructors from the Kenniscentrum Wondzorg Nederland. They work with wound photos, case studies, and short quizzes. This way, you can immediately translate new knowledge to your own patients, whether you work in a hospital, in the community, or in long-term care.
Information market and accreditation
Between sessions, you can visit the information market with suppliers of wound care products and compression materials. The conference is accredited for five points by the Kwaliteitsregister V&VN (specialism wound care), the Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register, and KABIZ-DA.
