The Obeya Association is hosting the third Global Obeya Summit in Maarssen, the Netherlands. From real-life use cases to honest conversations and global connections, the Obeya Summit offers a refreshing deep dive into conscious, collaborative decision-making.

The Summit

The Summit is the global forum where the Obeya discipline advances through real-world evidence, sector-specific insight, and high-quality practice. The entire program contains of contributions that strengthen the field’s credibility and demonstrate how Obeya impacts system-level performance, strategic execution, and organizational value creation.

This year’s theme, “Where Humanity Meets Performance,” challenges speakers and audience to experience how Obeya brings together the cognitive strengths of people with the clarity required for high-velocity, high-quality decision-making—especially as automation, AI agents, and algorithmic operating models expand across industries.

The Summit aims to shift dialogue upward: toward decision makers, executives, and budget owners who determine how organizations govern themselves.

The summit is not only for practitioners (beginner, intermediate or advanced level, mentor and sensei), but also for leaders responsible for performance, investment, and transformation.

THE OBEYA ASSOCIATION

The Obeya Association is a community, a platform and a worldwide network that aims to develop Obeya “from tool to philosophy”. The association brings together practitioners to discuss, create, share, test and continuously improve Obeya practices and quality standards. The association accredits and develops training materials.

ABOUT OBEYA

Obeya, which means “big room” in Japanese, is a collaborative workspace and visual management tool for teams to work together toward a common goal. It is used to bring together all relevant information, goals, and challenges in one place, making it easier to communicate, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently.
