More than 600 artists and creators open their studios during the Great Rotterdam Atelier Weekend. The annual open studio event for art lovers, collectors, and the curious in Rotterdam. Discover the Rotterdam art scene from the inside, in places that are normally closed.
Rotterdam studios open to the public
For one weekend, more than 600 artists, makers, and creatives open their doors in Rotterdam. The Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend (GRAW) is an annual open studio weekend held during the third weekend of September. Art lovers and collectors get the chance to see work up close, ask questions, and visit places normally off-limits.
From Crooswijk to Hillegersberg
Spread across the city—from Crooswijk to Coolhaven, from Hillevliet to Hillegersberg—more than 80 venues are opening their doors. The seventh edition of GRAW showcases the breadth and vibrancy of Rotterdam’s art scene. Local residents, collectors, and curious visitors will discover the energy of local visual and applied arts.
Cultural organization with ANBI status
The foundation behind GRAW has been designated a cultural ANBI (Public Benefit Organization) and is committed to raising the profile of Rotterdam’s art scene. The event connects artists with a broad audience and strengthens the city’s cultural sector. For professionals in the cultural sector, arts education, and public outreach, GRAW offers a behind-the-scenes look at urban art practices.
