The FDI World Dental Congress is the largest and most authoritative international congress for the global dental community, organized by the FDI World Dental Federation in cooperation with the Czech Dental Association (ČSK). The congress offers a scientific program with CE-accredited sessions, an international dental exhibition, the World Dental Parliament, and extensive networking opportunities — with a special focus on AI and digital dentistry in 2026.
The global congress for the dental community
The FDI World Dental Federation is the umbrella international organization representing more than 200 national dental associations worldwide. The annual FDI World Dental Congress (WDC) is the federation’s flagship event and serves as the leading international platform for dentists, researchers, industry, and policymakers. The 2026 edition is co-organized by the Czech Dental Association (ČSK), the professional association of more than 11,500 registered dentists in the Czech Republic.
Theme and program
The scientific program of WDC26 focuses on AI and digital dentistry as the technologies shaping the future of the profession. In addition to the main conference with plenary sessions, interactive forums, and CE-accredited workshops, the international dental exhibition takes place, where companies present the latest equipment, materials, and solutions. A special feature is the World Dental Parliament, where global decisions regarding the future of dentistry are made.
