Dutch Health Week

  • from 2026-04-12 to 2026-04-19
Stad en Regio Utrecht, Utrecht

Dutch Health Week is the annual week-long health event in the city and region of Utrecht, organized by Koninklijke Jaarbeurs in collaboration with Utrecht Marketing, Utrecht Heart of Health, and ROM Utrecht Region. This multifaceted event combines trade fairs, conferences, sports, culture, nutrition, and education, and is aimed at both residents and healthcare professionals, with a shared goal: healthy together.

A week of health in the heart of the Netherlands

Dutch Health Week is Utrecht’s annual city-wide event, dedicated to health and well-being for a full week. The event is an initiative of Royal Jaarbeurs (Royal Jaarbeurs) and aligns with Utrecht’s regional ambition as the “Heart of Health”—an ecosystem of innovative companies, knowledge institutions, and government agencies working together towards a healthier and more sustainable world. Program locations are spread throughout the city and region, including Utrecht Science Park, Jaarbeurs, Galgenwaard, Centraal Museum, sports clubs, and museums in the city center.

Program and themes

The program is structured around seven main themes: food & beverage, trade fairs & conferences, education, beauty, sports, culture, and healthcare & well-being. The offerings range from professional conferences and scientific lectures to public activities in the fields of sports, nutrition, preventive health, and urban planning. Interconnections with education, science, mobility, and housing make it a broad social program accessible to a diverse audience.

Who is Dutch Health Week for?

The event focuses on two main target groups: healthcare professionals and researchers participating in professional fairs and conferences, and citizens and residents of Utrecht and the surrounding area who want to learn about the latest trends in health and healthy lifestyles in an accessible and inspiring way.
