Study day for professionals in arts, culture, and heritage. Strategic thinking, practical insights, and debate on outreach, financing, and sustainability. Come to this major event on arts, culture, and heritage in Ostend, Belgium.
Strategy day for culture in Ostend
Ars Strategica 2026 brings together professionals from the arts, culture, and heritage sectors at De Grote Post in Ostend. The seminar focuses on one central question: how do you make choices today that will still hold true tomorrow? This applies to artistic, organizational, and societal aspects. With a new policy plan on the horizon, this is the time to think carefully about the direction of your own organization.
Program full of content and debate
The program includes two keynotes, sixteen panels, workshops and sessions, and two final debates led by Lies Steppe and Friedl Lesage. Speakers such as Arnon Grunberg, Rick De Leeuw, Jurenne Hooi, and Melat Nigussie will be speaking. Topics on the agenda include outreach, additional funding, sponsorship, volunteers, use of space, digitization, archiving, sustainability, and inclusion.
Who is this study day for?
Ars Strategica is aimed at directors, artistic and business leaders, coordinators, policy officers, and communication and public relations professionals in the cultural sector. The day focuses on the daily realities of organizations: limited resources, high expectations, and high ambition. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.
