48th ISCB Annual Conference 2027 Rotterdam

The 48th annual conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) is the leading international scientific congress for statisticians, epidemiologists, clinicians, and researchers in clinical biostatistics. Since 1978, the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) has been the global scientific association for statisticians, epidemiologists, and other professionals working on the development and application of statistical methods in clinical and medical research. The ISCB promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among statisticians, clinicians, and epidemiologists, connecting its members through an annual conference, educational workshops, working groups, and a broad commitment to integrating sound statistical thinking into healthcare and biomedical science. The 48th edition is organized by Erasmus MC Rotterdam, one of the leading academic hospitals and research institutes in Europe.

Program

The program spans five days. On Sunday, August 22nd, there will be an extensive pre-conference day with parallel sessions and a student meeting. The main program runs from Monday, August 23rd, to Thursday, August 26th, and includes daily plenary and parallel presentation sessions, a continuous poster presentation, a welcome reception on Monday evening, and excursions on Tuesday afternoon. A conference dinner will be held on Wednesday evening. The conference concludes on Thursday with a full day of mini-symposia. The registration fee covers four full days of conference with lunches, coffee breaks, and access to the exhibition space.

Who is the ISCB conference for?

The conference is aimed at biostatisticians, epidemiologists, clinical researchers, data analysts, and other professionals and students working at the intersection of statistics, medicine, and biomedical science.
